October was supposed to be a month of putting edits in the novel to be published soon. But it started with a two-week paid vacation for me courtesy of Sen. Ted Cruz and his merry band in the House. So I poured my free time into writing almost up to a fully part-time schedule and getting the edits done. So the October numbers were pretty high.
- October total words: 35,000+
- October Daily average: 1,151 (highest since February)
- YTD Total: 273,000+
- YTD Average: 900
- Estimated YTD Total (as of 11/6): 323,000
Writing included a number of things, adding some to a few novels underway, added a few short stories.
November, ironically the NaNoWriMo, will be much, much less prolific. I’m proofing a novel by a deadline and am just trying to write some words each day to keep the streak going. So far so good, but the YTD averages are taking a hit.
