“How’s that writing thing going?”
I feel like I’m going to get that question a lot because there hasn’t been any outward appearance of progress in a long time. (Yeah, I’ve been coasting on that single flash fiction sale for 18 months now – not!)
Okay, so a couple of short stories have bounced around collecting rejections. I should probably get them back out there because they haven’t been rejected by everyone yet.
Kagent I: Crashpoint Cascade is ready to move on to either be edited and published or toss it in the trunk forever. I shopped it around to some agents, revised based on their comments and beta reader feedback.
I’m writing Kagent II. So I guess I’m betting that Kagent I is not too embarrassing to publish.
I spent NaNoWriMo (all of November) writing Obesity Conspiracy II and hit the 50,000 word goal. I wrote that by the seat of my pants with almost no planning (not what I have recommended) and it will simmer on the back burner for a while.
I have line edits from beta readers for Obesity Conspiracy I and Space Pirates I that I have to incorporate.
So what’s the plan to publish all this stuff? It will start with the Kagent novels. Stay tuned.
